Steering Through Traffic and Targets
Highway Smash Driving Arcade puts you behind the wheel of a truck that moves forward automatically on an endless highway. Your only direct control is lateral: use a mouse or touch screen to steer left and right. The road is populated with two types of objects—groups of targets that add points when you drive through them, and other objects that immediately end your run on contact. The challenge is reading the arrangement ahead and choosing a line that collects targets without clipping an obstacle.
Run Structure and Scoring
Each run continues until you hit a non-target object. There is no timer or level select; the highway and object placement change every session, so you cannot memorize a fixed route. Points come from successfully navigating through target groups, and the score you accumulate across runs feeds into an upgrade system. Because a single mistake ends the attempt, the game rewards steady hands and quick recognition over reckless speed.
Truck Upgrades and Progression
As you earn points, an in-game menu lets you spend them on truck improvements. The input confirms that upgrades affect performance and that prioritizing them increases points per interaction. This creates a light strategic layer: you decide when to cash in points for better handling or scoring rather than chasing one more run with the current setup. The upgrade path is the main long-term progression, giving repeated sessions a purpose beyond beating a personal high score.
Controls, Platforms, and Accessibility
The game runs directly in a web browser on both mobile and desktop, with no download or installation. Mouse steering works on desktop, while tapping and dragging provides smooth control on touch screens. Full-screen mode is available. The colorful graphics and simple premise are designed to be accessible for all ages, and there are no complex rules or tutorials—you can start playing immediately. Performance is described as smooth on both platform types.
