Size-Based Absorption and Risk
The core loop is straightforward: approach and absorb celestial bodies smaller than you to increase your size. Each object's size is indicated by its glow, so you can judge whether it is safe to approach. However, moving faster reduces your mass, making you vulnerable to objects that would otherwise be harmless. If a body becomes too large, turning away immediately is the only way to avoid being absorbed. This creates a constant tension between growing and staying safe, rewarding patience over reckless speed.
