The Single-Shot Rule
Each level in Bounce Target Puzzle presents a fixed arrangement of targets and obstacles. Before firing, players study the layout because only one shot is allowed. The projectile moves in a straight line until it hits a surface, then reacts based on that surface's material. The objective is to tag every target in one continuous path. If any target remains untouched, the level resets and the player can try again immediately. This structure rewards planning over quick reflexes.
How Surfaces Change the Shot
Obstacles fall into distinct categories that behave differently on contact. Solid walls reflect the projectile at a mirrored angle, making them the most predictable bounce points. Bouncy panels add speed and alter the trajectory more sharply. Breakable barriers shatter when hit, allowing the ball to pass through afterward. Moving platforms shift position over time, so players must time their shot to match the platform's location. Later puzzles combine these surface types, and understanding each interaction is necessary to find a working path.
Progression Without Pressure
Early levels introduce simple wall bounces with a small number of targets. New obstacle types appear one at a time, giving players room to learn each behavior before the next is added. Later stages mix multiple surface types and moving elements, and difficulty rises by requiring longer, more complex paths rather than adding timers or penalties. There is no fail state beyond the level resetting, and players can retry as often as they like at no cost.
Presentation and Audience
Bright, clean colors keep targets easy to distinguish from the background. A faint trail shows the projectile's route after each attempt, helping players adjust their next shot. Audio is minimal: a soft chime confirms a target hit, and a different tone signals a complete clear. The game contains no violent content, no competitive elements, and no ads or in-app purchases that interrupt play. Controls are simple enough for young children, while later puzzles offer enough depth for older players.
