Clearing the Three Peaks
Mountain Ridge Solitaire Puzzle presents three overlapping piles of face-up cards, called peaks. The goal is to remove every card by matching ranks with the active card at the bottom of the draw pile. If the draw pile shows a 5, you can tap a 4 or a 6 from any peak. Each successful match moves that card onto the draw pile and changes the active card. When no direct match exists, drawing from the stock pile provides a new active card. The round ends when all peaks are cleared or no moves remain.Planning Your Matches
Success depends on thinking ahead. Removing a card from one peak can expose new cards underneath, but it can also block access to others. Clearing cards evenly across all three peaks tends to keep more options open. The stock pile acts as a safety net, yet using it too early may leave you with fewer moves later. Because every layout is randomly generated, no two rounds play the same way, so you must adapt your approach each time.Calm Visuals and Simple Controls
The design emphasizes clarity and calm. Cards are large and easy to read, set against a clean background that reduces visual clutter. Subtle animations give gentle feedback with each move, and the soft color palette creates a soothing environment. Sound effects are minimal, with an optional ambient soundtrack. Controls are simple: tap or click to select a card. The game works equally well on phones, tablets, and desktop computers. No Timers, No Pressure
There is no timer, so you can play at your own pace. A round often takes just a few minutes, making it suitable for short breaks, but you can also take longer, more deliberate sessions. The free-to-play model means no upfront cost, and the lack of intrusive ads keeps gameplay uninterrupted. The game tracks personal statistics such as rounds completed and best clearing times, offering a gentle incentive to improve without pressure.Editorial Notes
