Beat-Matching With Arrow Keys
The core loop is straightforward: arrow symbols appear above the main character, and you press the matching arrow key on your keyboard as each symbol lines up with the beat. Timing is everything. Hit notes cleanly and the song continues; miss too many in a row and the track restarts from the beginning. Because the penalty is a full restart rather than a score deduction, accuracy matters more than raw speed, and sloppy sections punish you quickly.
Two Ways to Play
Story mode frames the note charts inside a narrative, giving each song a context and a reason to push forward. Free play strips that away and lets you practice individual tracks at your own pace, which is the better place to learn a song's pattern before committing to a story run. The two modes serve different moods, and switching between them costs nothing.
Original Tracks and Impostor Opponents
The soundtrack uses original compositions with titles like Tasks, Skeptical Behavior, Discussion, and Voted. Each track carries its own rhythm profile, so patterns shift noticeably between songs rather than repeating one template. Your opponents are impostor characters drawn from the social deduction game that inspired the mod, and the friendly musical duel framing keeps the tone light throughout.
Practice Habits That Help
Start in free play on slower songs to internalize note spacing before chasing faster charts. Listen to the beat rather than staring only at the arrows; the visual cue and the audio cue should reinforce each other. When a run collapses, restart calmly instead of rushing the first notes. If the default arrow layout feels awkward, the input setup is worth adjusting early, before muscle memory locks in.
